Informa-se que está aberto período de candidatura ao Prémio Jorge Gelman para a melhor tese de doutoramento em História Rural.

O prémio tem um carácter trienal, coincidindo com os congressos internacionais da SEHA e do RePort Rural. Ao prémio poderão concorrer teses de doutoramento defendidas no triénio 2020-2021-2022, sem distinção de país ou língua, relacionadas com a História Rural da Península Ibérica ou América Latina (incluindo o Brasil) e defendidas em universidades de países ibéricos ou latino-americanos.

Call for expressions of interest to host the ESEH Biennial Conference 2025

The European Society for Environmental History (ESEH) invites expressions of interest to host the biennial conference of the Society in 2025. Host institution(s) will be responsible for the organisation and running of the conference. It/They will work closely with the Programme Committee and the ESEH board to design the conference.

Em 2023, o V Encontro da rede Reportha decorrerá de 19 a 21 de outubro na Universidade do Minho e terá como tema: Energia e desafios socioambientais. Pretende-se criar um amplo espaço de discussão em torno da relação entre fontes e recursos energéticos, por um lado, e as sociedades humanas e o ambiente, por outro, no passado e no presente.
